 CONFERENCE SESSIONS

ORAL REPORTS SESSION*

All technical session rooms are equipped with a video projector and a computer running Microsoft Windows with Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Reader. You should bring your presentation on a USB drive or even use your laptop or smart device, as long as it is enabled with a VGA output connection. The presenter should prepare a set of slides that clearly illustrate the main points of their paper and ensure the presentation fits well within the assigned time. The length of one presentation should be approximately 12 minutes, and 3 minutes for discussion. We request speakers check in with the chairperson before the start of the session. Speakers requiring special equipment should contact the organizers while applying their abstracts.

POSTER PRESENTATION SESSION*

Read POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES carefully

INVITED TALKS:

The length of one lecture provided by the Invited speaker should be approximately 25 minutes and 5 minutes for discussion. Speakers are kindly asked to check in with the chairperson before the start of the session. Speakers requiring special equipment should contact the organizers while applying their abstracts. The complete list of Invited Lecturers will be available a week before the conference.

*All participants of the SPO 2023 conference can choose the type of presentation format: oral report (lecture) OR poster presentation.

CONFERENCE DESCRIPTION AND SCOPE

Description

The SPO 2023 conference aims to form a connection between students, scientists, and engineers involved in the research and development of optics and high-technology material science technologies. We are pleased to invite researchers involved in optics, photonics, applied physics, and, last but not least, engineering. Our conference will help to unite an effort to strengthen the position of high optical education in modern society.

Scope

Ideas on analyzing and approaching problems by combining novel optical technologies, photonics applications, electronic interfaces, and principal optics technologies in the scope of R&D projects, engineering, or network management are welcome. Papers describing new engineering prototypes, systems, and techniques for manufacturing and general survey papers indicating future directions are also welcome. Papers should describe original work in any of the areas listed below. Acceptance will be based on quality, relevance, and originality. Both complete research reports and work-in-progress reports are welcome. There will be both oral and poster sessions.

Special sessions dedicated to technical exhibitions related to the main conference topics are also envisaged: researchers interested in organizing a special scientific/education session, and we invite researchers interested in presenting a tutorial to contact the conference organizers.

REGISTRATION FEES

Participation is FREE.
