Workshop on Sustainable Materials and Technologies for Optoelectronics and Sensors

Workshop on Sustainable Materials and Technologies for Optoelectronics and Sensors

This workshop explores eco-friendly materials and sustainable technologies for photonics, optoelectronics and sensing — from perovskites and two-dimensional materials to energy-conversion systems and green synthesis routes. Supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Workshop on Sustainable Materials and Technologies

Date

Thursday, 5 November 2026

Submission

Contributions to the workshop should be made via the general SPO 2026 submission form. All research on sustainable materials and technologies will be allocated to the workshop sessions by the Program Committee.

Participants will discuss advances in sustainable materials and their integration into next-generation optoelectronic and sensor devices — covering perovskite science, two-dimensional materials, energy conversion and green synthesis routes.

Topics

  • Emerging trends in perovskite science and technology
  • Frontiers in MoS₂ and two-dimensional materials
  • Innovative materials for energy conversion and photonics
  • Sustainable and green synthesis routes
  • Materials for optical sensors and detectors
